The Yukon’s Energy Solutions Centre is committed to energy related training, capacity building, and public outreach. ESC promotes and sponsors activities aimed at enhancing knowledge of the benefits of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies among local tradespeople, retailers, and consumers, as well as building the capacity of local tradespeople and technicians to install and maintain these new technologies.

Find out about recent lighting advances that are changing the way we think about lighting. Learn about good lighting selection and the successes others have had in reducing lighting energy costs.

Presenter: Roy Hughes, P.Eng, LC, has been influential in the BC Hydro Power Smart programs and in the development of Canadian Lighting Standards. He will share
his techniques for reducing lighting energy cost, improving lighting design, and installing effective controls.
